Why didn’t anyone tell me this BEFORE I started Homeschooling?

I was TERRIFIED as I stepped into homeschooling.

I never taught anything but Sunday school before.

Why didn’t people rush to tell me:

  • Curriculum has nothing to do with homeschooling success
  • Showers are optional and overrated
  • No amount of knowledge looks beautiful on someone with a terrible attitude
  • Coffee is one of the major food groups
  • Children’s shirts have four clean surfaces: Front, back, inside front, and inside back
  • Feeding kids chicken nuggets and corndogs doesn’t make you a bad mom
  • The Lord will lead the way in raising and educating my kids

That’s why I’m here today…

I beg to differ, showers are not negotiable! I don’t like coffee and through the years my morning shower has been my daily jump start.

      Lol!
I always thought my day would be destroyed without a shower. I learned to cut myself some slack (although I never miss a shower. I did learn to only wash my hair a few times a week though. Funny. It grows stronger and longer now!)
