“My name is Stephen.”

I have a BIG Goal

I’ve been recruited to row for a private Division 1 University!!!

My dream is to be an engineer someday.

I absolutely love working with my hands and I love innovation.

But I’m also a busy creator who is DETERMINED to achieve my goals.

Stephen Created Goodies

100% of the proceeds of these creations goes directly into his savings for college.

Yes, he crochets!

When Stephen was 4 years old I began teaching him to crotchet.

During 2020, this little hobby saved his sanity!

After creating dozens and dozens of little creatures, I convinced him to create an online class to pass on his skills to others!

Come crochet with Stephen

MUSHROOMS?

He’s a photographer!

When we began studying fungi, I watched him sink in his chair.

So we hid the textbook and went on mushroom hunting photo shoots!

Stephen not only took some incredible pictures of these glorious fungi, but he fell in love with their whole world along the way.

We consolidated his collection of mushroom images here and he created a learning packet for kids.

Cardio Thoracic Surgeon?

That is what he wanted to do when he was 14. For school, he spent a year learning about the heart.

When he was studying, I was looking for a project for him to do as an extension and I said, “You know, I think you can create something better than any of the paper project I’ve found online.”

Challenge Accepted. I think he nailed it. Grab a copy here!

This activity works for kids of all ages!

His first customers!

Stephen’s latest creation?

Let me tell you the story

These resources are a testimony to how powerful homeschooling can be when you lean into your child’s passions.

This bearded boy of ours did not read until he was ten.

We read aloud to him, marinated him in excellent literature, and have watched him blossom into an incredible talented artist and creator.

Join Team Stephen

Thank you for encouraging him as he reaches toward his future!

Ways to help get this goof ball to college and then the Olympics in the future:

1. Join his crochet class and learn to make an adorable whale.
2. Grab one of his heart foldable crafts.
3. Share this post =).
