How to Homeschool Successfully: Get Your Practical Guide December 30, 2017 By Bekki Leave a Comment This content may contain affiliate links.Homeschooling: one of the most rewarding, challenging, frustrating things I have ever done. I personally have five children. All boys. Yes, It’s as overwhelming as it sounds! Sometimes all I need is a little space, and a bag full of Oreos. Other times I need a homeschool ally. My homeschooling journey began when my husband said, “Give it a try for a year and we will talk about it again.” Truth be told, I went into homeschooling kicking and screaming. Whoever tells you homeschooling is easy is lying to you! Those first few years of teaching my children were tough. Luckily, I had a few veteran homeschooler take me under their wings. Thank goodness for homeschooling friends! And then we became professional homeschoolers. Over 15 years after that first day at the table, I am still hanging out with our sons all day talking about Jesus, math concepts and trying to look like I understand what I am doing. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with teaching our sons and helping other moms like you. Because I wasn’t busy enough, I started this website and wrote a book. My heart is to reach as many homeschoolers as the Lord will allow. Phew! What a journey!
