DIY Heart Foldable

This all began on a 4 mile walk in the rain.

He wants to be a cardiothoracic surgeon, that 14-year old son of mine.

Forget the  fact that he’s dyslexic, a ball of energy and only an early teen. He’s diving in.



It all began on a walk a few weeks ago, where we brainstormed the steps he could take to pursue this newish dream of his…

… and has grown into a full emersion independent study of everything related to the heart.

I showed him a cut, fold, and learn template of the heart on teachers pay teachers and said, “I’ll get it for you, but honestly I think you can create a better one yourself.
