										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Does the idea of teaching divisibility make you jump for joy or run for cover?</p>
<p>I have taught 5th and 6th grade 7 years total now, (3 years in the classroom, plus 4 of my own kids so far) and I can tell you that many kids struggle with the divisibility rules.</p>
<ul>
<li>You now, things like &#8220;A number is divisible by 9 if the sum of all the digits equals a number is divisible by 9&#8221;. Easy? No? Fear not.</li>
</ul>
<p>
These rules are very important when&nbsp; kids need to reduce fractions, so I got creative.</p>
