I always knew I would homeschool my children, (I was home schooled, and now have a BA in eduction.) AND THEN my oldest turned four and I have two under him (20 mo and 5 weeks), and I am an at-home seamstress (working maybe 2 hrs a day), and suddenly my son drives me crazy. For Reals. It's a struggle and I've seriously considered talking to someone about it! What's wrong with me that my child is so annoying!! And I realize it mostly stems from ME not being invested in paying attention to HIM. This last week I have made a intentional effort to slow down and REALLY be present with him. He has been much more relaxed and obedient and I have been able to handle his incessant chatter in a much more accepting manor.
