I&#039;m only 3 posts in your blog, and already want to yell, &#034;Amen, sistah!&#034; I make my girls have quiet time (usually an hour) every afternoon after our read aloud at lunch. (That was what your previous post was about!) Your dad&#039;s quote is a good one, and probably more gentle than what I often tell my kids : only boring people get bored. I don&#039;t know if it&#039;s that they&#039;re offended at being called boring, or just that they want to get away before I start handing out chores. Either way, somehow they always manage to find something fun to do, and no one has ever died of boredom at my house yet!]]></description>
