Homeschooling: one of the most rewarding, challenging, frustrating things I have ever done.
I personally have five children.
All boys. Yes, It’s as overwhelming as it sounds!
Sometimes all I need is a little space, and a bag full of Oreos.
Other times I need a homeschool ally.
My homeschooling journey began when my husband said, “Give it a try for a year and we will talk about it again.”
Truth be told, I went into homeschooling kicking and screaming.
Whoever tells you homeschooling is easy is lying to you! Those first few years of teaching my children were tough.
Luckily, I had a few veteran homeschooler take me under their wings.
Thank goodness for homeschooling friends!
And then we became professional homeschoolers. Over 15 years after that first day at the table, I am still hanging out with our sons all day talking about Jesus, math concepts and trying to look like I understand what I am doing.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with teaching our sons and helping other moms like you. Because I wasn’t busy enough, I started this website and wrote a book. My heart is to reach as many homeschoolers as the Lord will allow. Phew!
What a journey!
Homeschool Guide for Real Families will help you take the first step toward grabbing the reigns in your own homeschool journey.
Success in homeschooling won’t come from neat handwriting, or kids learning to read before their 4th birthday, or from your kids getting 100% on their SAT.
Because eventually, you realize homeschooling isn’t about legible handwriting, test scores and “my kid beat your kid”.
True, real success comes from a conscious effort by you to help your child grow to be a valuable member of our world.
Which is why you need Homeschool Guide for Real Families.
To teach you the simple habits and mindsets that will make the biggest impact on your homeschooling, your kids, and your sanity.
You’ll learn how to create a survival plan, how to set goals that are achievable, how to create lessons for your kids and much much more.
Let me share two decades of homeschooling experience with you. Let me be your homeschool ally.
My Homeschool Guide goes great with a journal, a cup of coffee and a comfy chair.
Real success doesn’t come from reading a book, but by a conscious effort by you.
